TAIWAN INSIGHTS ::

A comprehensive 16 day tour encompassing insights into the
historical, cultural, scenic and culinary aspects of this fascinating island. We will
explore the length and breadth of this beautiful and diverse country. We visit markets,
taste the cuisine, ride a mountain train, tour the city of Taipei and Kenting National
Park, stay 2 nights at the spectacular Taroko Gorge, and see the famed Sun Moon
Lake, dramatic coastal scenery and visit indigenous tribal communities.
The itinerary includes the island of Kinmen, part of Taiwanese territory, with its own
distinct history and attractions. Kinmen is situated within a few kilometres from the
Chinese mainland had a crucial role to play in the independence struggles of the
past.

LAKE EYRE BY AIR ::
Monday 18th July to Saturday 23rd July, 2011
"Lake Eyre by Air" is a 6 day tour departing from Albion Park and travelling by chartered aircraft.
It gives you the perfect opportunity to see far flung and interesting parts of the Outback with the ease and perspective of travelling by air.
An enormous amount of widespread rain has fallen across outback NSW, Queensland and South Australia and this very rare event has caused the
colossal transformation of the country.
The massive expanse of Lake Eyre is the principal feature of this tour and our tour encompasses many other insights of the Outback over 6 days.
You will visit Cooper Creek and the site where Burke and Wills infamously perished, the iconic Birdsville Hotel,
see Wilpena Pound and meet the owners of Kilcowera Station and stay overnight after a tour of the property.
As well, we visit the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary in the northern Flinders Ranges and experience their award winning 4WD tour to Siller's
lookout. At the opal mining settlement of White Cliffs, we stay underground at Underground Motel and at World Heritage Listed Lake Mungo we'll see the
lunar lakeside environment where human remains dating from 40,000 years have been found.
The tour starts and finishes at Albion Park airport and we fly in a turbine powered Cessna Caravan aircraft which is certified as one the safest single engine aeroplanes.
It's equipped with 9 passenger seats though we will have a maximum of 7 guests, so that everyone has a window seat.

BRAZILIAN INSIGHTS ::

Think of Brazil and its images of immense jungles, exuberant people, coastal
rainforest, the world's largest wetland, exotic edible fruits, diverse cuisine, World
Heritage colonial towns, the mighty Amazon River and irresistible Rio de Janeiro!
Brazilian Insights starts from Sydney on 22nd June 2011 on a twenty-three day tour
of this colossal country - the largest in South America.
Brazilian Insights encompasses the states of Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul,
Amazonia, Amapa and the cities of Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia. We visit
many places far off the beaten track.
We will experience the Pantanal - the world's largest wetland area, situated in
western Brazil where we stay 3 nights at Refugio da Ilha lodge. We also stay at a
floating lodge in Mamirauá Reserve situated in a remote area of the Amazon forest.
Highlights and insights include: train ride on the spectacular Serra do Mar Railway;
remote lodges; historic towns; European, Portuguese and native Indian influences as
well as spectacular scenery; regional culinary specialties and enthralling diversity.
The tour is fully escorted and we stay at premium hotels, include all meals, entrance
fees, tips and transportation and we have our own local guides.

INSIGHTS RAILMOTORS ::

Insights Railmotors is a 10 day tour featuring exclusively chartered railcars and an
accompanying coach with insightful touring in our customary style.
Departure is from Thirroul, travelling via the NSW north coast to Brisbane. The itinerary includes south
west Queensland: Wallangarra, Warwick and Toowoomba along with the Darling Downs.
Insights Railmotors will be an experience of touring by chartered train with coordinated
coach touring. The tour is fully escorted and inclusive of all meals, good accommodation
and guided touring. We stay at Wingham, Grafton, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Warwick (2
nights), Gunnedah, Cessnock and Mittagong. The tour is limited to 40 passengers to

This is a 6 day tour by chartered aircraft visiting 4 of the Tasmanian islands: Flinders, King, Bruny and Sarah.
We spend 2 nights on each of the Bass Strait islands of King and Flinders and we have comprehensive guided sightseeing throughout the tour.
You'll see the contrasts between the islands: seaweed harvesting, a 7000 year old calcified forest, penguins, a former Tasmanian
aboriginal mission, the reknown King Island Dairy, the local wool industry, a former penal colony and a resupply port for French and
English sailors as well as several of the sites of Australia's worst maritime accidents.
We fly in a turbine powered Cessna Caravan aircraft which is certified as one the safest single engine aeroplanes.

GARDENS AND VISTAS ::

This 4 day spring time tour travels by chartered luxury 14 seat coach from Thirroul
and visits the Blue Mountains. Highlights of Gardens and Vistas include Sublime
Point and Conservation Hut at Wentworth Falls, Leura Cascades, the Blackheath
Rhododendron Park and lunch at Bon Tom in Leura. There will be guided visits of
the gardens at Windyridge, Mt Wilson as well as at Mt Tomah and Mt Annan Botanic
Gardens.
Insights Tours has arranged our own guides at the gardens and you'll have ample
time to explore, investigate and relax. We travel to Katoomba on day 1 where we
stay for 3 nights at the Three Sisters Motel that has its own dining room and is within
easy walking distance of Echo Point and is close to the centre of Katoomba. Each
day we will arrive back at Katoomba mid afternoon allowing you some free time to
relax and to do your own thing.

Most time is free to discover the 12 km long island at your own pace by walking or
