This relaxing 5 day autumn tour travels by chartered luxury 14 seat coach from Thirroul and visits the Mid North Coast of NSW. We explore the original Great North Road, Barrington Tops National Park and board the “Free Spirit” for a relaxing cruise on Wallis Lake. As well there is scenic coastal touring and a charter cruise on the Myall River. Discover the insights of Gloucester and Forster at a relaxed pace.

Heritage Train tour INDIAN INSIGHTS ::

6th March to 31st March 2010

Insights into India. From bustling metropolises to high country retreats, tea and spice plantations to the languid backwaters of Kerala. Travelling by a combination of express trains, specially chartered trains, chartered coach and chartered river boat. Guided touring of the length and breadth of India with its diversity of cultures, cuisine, history, architecture, industries and scenery. We travel on 3 specially chartered mountain trains to Darjeeling, Shimla and Coonoor , all built for the British to travel to their "Hill Stations". Indian Insights visits big cities: Delhi and Kolcata, small villages, has safaris at Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, visits Periyar Wildlife Reserve and the World Heritage Taj Mahal. We have tours of spice plantations, city tours, a sunset cruise at Cochin, a martial arts exposition and time to experience Ayurveda in Kerala.

The tour is fully escorted and we stay at first class hotels.

Gardens and Vistas GARDENS AND VISTAS :: View Itinerary: 1 Tour Itinerary 2 Tour Itinerary

This 4 day spring time tour travels by chartered luxury 14 seat coach from Thirroul and visits the Blue Mountains. Highlights of Gardens and Vistas include Sublime Point and Conservation Hut at Wentworth Falls, Leura Cascades, the Blackheath Rhododendron Park and lunch at Bon Tom in Leura. There will be guided visits of the gardens at Windyridge, Mt Wilson as well as at Mt Tomah and Mt Annan Botanic Gardens.

Insights Tours has arranged our own guides at the gardens and you'll have ample time to explore, investigate and relax. We travel to Katoomba on day 1 where we stay for 3 nights at the Three Sisters Motel that has its own dining room and is within easy walking distance of Echo Point and is close to the centre of Katoomba. Each day we will arrive back at Katoomba mid afternoon allowing you some free time to relax and to do your own thing.

World Heritage Island situated just 2 hours flying from Sydney. Unique flora and fauna. Staying 6 nights at the Pinetrees Lodge – renown for 166 years of superb hospitality and cuisine. Insights arranges expert botanist Ian Hutton, as well as coral viewing, history insights and a launch transfer to North Beach on one of the days. Most time is free to discover the 12 km long island at your own pace by walking or cycling as there are very few vehicles. Relax and enjoy a piece of paradise.

Heritage Train tour HUNTER INSIGHTS SHORT BREAK :: View Itinerary Tour Itinerary

We invite you to join us for the first section of our Hunter Insights tour. You will travel from Thirroul by airconditioned chartered coach to Cessnock in the heart of the Hunter Valley.
The first highlight of your short break is a private chartered ferry cruise on the Hawkesbury River with lunch served on board. The tour will take you to historic Hunter towns, the Richmond Vale Mining and Railway Museum and the long established Drayton's Family Winery near Pokolbin.
You will also have the experience of travelling on our chartered private railcar train as we travel to the Upper Hunter Region of Singleton and Muswellbrook.
Hunter Insights Short Break is an all inclusive and fully escorted tour.

This 11 day tour follows our boutique concept of travelling by private chartered railcar with accompanying coach for comprehensive sightseeing and insightsful inspections and guided tours. The itinerary includes the lower and upper Hunter regions of NSW, Richmond Main steam train ride, Nundle Woollen Mill, Fort Scratchley and inspection and morning tea at Belltrees an Upper Hunter heritage property. Other highlights include a performance at the Prince of Wales Opera house at Gulgong , Draytons Winery, travelling to Gulgong via the rarely seen Goulburn River route, a guided tour of Ulan Coal Mine and a final lunch at the Fountaindale Grand Manor near Robertson.

Heritage Train tour 4 DAYS OF INSIGHTS :: View Itinerary Tour Itinerary

Spend four special days exploring the Hunter, Central Coast and Southern Highlands. You will travel by exclusively chartered coach, cruise boat and private railcar.
These four days are the final four days of Insights Tours 12 day Hunter Insights tour. During the "4 Days of Insights" tour you will learn of the importance of WWII era Fort Scratchley, enjoy a cruise up the Hunter River to the historic port of Morpeth and travel by chartered private railcar through the Central Coast to the Southern Highlands.
We stay at the heritage Berida Manor in Bowral and on the final day we have a traditional Sunday Roast Lunch at Fountaindale Grand Manor at Robertson before boarding our chartered railcars for the descent of the Illawarra Escarpment to Thirroul.
4 Days of Insights is an all inclusive and fully escorted tour.

Heritage Train tour INSIGHTS SUNDAY ROAST LUNCHEON :: View Itinerary Tour Itinerary

Following the success of this luncheon in 2008, we are encouraged to repeat it this year on Sunday 31st May 2009. The day includes travelling by chartered railmotor from Unanderra to Fountaindale Grand Manor's private station at Ranelagh. A traditional Sunday Roast Lunch will be served in the dining room of Fountaindale Grand Manor and in the mid afternoon we return by coach descending Macquarie Pass.
